Visqueen Poliwrap, already one of the most advanced and capable balewraps available, has been further enhanced by the incorporation of Pro Technology, a technical innovation that offers farmers and contractors the triple benefits of an enhanced balewrapping process, significant cost savings and augmented crop quality. Additionally, this next generation polythene film technology, developed for use with high output round bale integrated combiwrappers, has the added benefit of being easier to recycle thanks to its thinner, but stronger profile.
Reduced waste
Visqueen PoliwrapPro offers all the performance of the original Visqueen Poliwrap product but from a significantly thinner film profile. As a result, less film by weight is used to wrap each bale and consequently there is less film waste by weight after those bales are opened. As with the entire Visqueen range this reduced waste is 100% recyclable.
Increased Length - Increased efficiency
The thinner profile of Visqueen PoliwrapPro means it benefits from a greater reel length of 2000m. This additional length allows users to produce 33% more bales per reel providing greater value for money. It also means fewer stoppages for reel changes maximising both machine and operator time. In addition to these cost savings there is the potential for a significant time saving. Given that unboxing and changing a reel takes approximately 7 minutes on each occasion, it is possible for farmers and contractors wrapping circa 350 bales a day to save 30 minutes of their valuable time daily. This notable time saving combined with the fact that operators can carry a full day’s film requirements on the wrapper helps to increase productivity levels on farm.
Better Crop Conversation
Aside from the excellent operational benefits mentioned above Visqueen PoliwrapPro also facilitates better crop conservation thanks to the increased oxygen barrier it provides. Additionally the smoother, less wrinkled film layers which result when it is applied to the bale also mean that there are fewer opportunities for air to become trapped.
